### An obvious-not-obvious reality It occurred to me today that no matter the ontological views of an individual, there will _always_ be questions. Some epistemic naturalists might hold that, given enough time, we could know the fundamentals of the universe; essentially, we could answer the What, never needing the Why. This is a significant claim and we don't know it can be done. If you'll call back in a few billion years... More seriously, I recognized today that no matter my worldview, questions tied to the certainty of any claim will exist. Some Christians and some Naturalists have one thing in common: in both camps are those who claim we can know for certain the absurdity of the opposite viewpoint. It seems to me they're both wrong. Both make a leap of faith at some juncture. Both must commit to their chosen path. In both cases, questions and uncertainties remain. This is the nature of faith.  There will be questions.
